Season 9 Duel

Today, we would like to share and highlight the story of “The Duel” that took place in Season 9 of SquadBlast Leaderboards.
In short, Season 9 was wild! So much so that we decided we had to make something special for just how epic it was. We saw an legendary showdown for the top spot between PrimePatrick and Arc an Ciel, and it was way too close to call right up until the final hours.
The story began with PrimePatrick, as per usual, kicking things off strong and gaining led early on at the start of the Season. But the real drama started 4 days later, when Arc an Ciel accepted the challenge. On August 23rd Arc caught up with Patrick, and a week later, both were tied at 52K valor, moving neck and neck for first place! The lead switched back and forth like crazy, with Arc even getting 8K ahead at one point. We counted 11 times when the two gladiators overtook each other, but there were likely more occasions in the heat of the moment that we simply could not track.
Days grew longer, sessions became marathons. If the two combatants played some 3 hours a day early on, now it was hard to point where they were NOT playing for supremacy.
The final week? Absolute madness. With just 3 hours left, Arc had a slim lead of 600 valor. But in the end, Patrick reclaimed the top spot, finishing with 155,612 valor, while Arc ended with 155,069. Patrick’s insane win rate and ability to wrap up games quickly really paid off.
A month of one of the most intense PvP action we’ve seen in a while. A difference of mere 543 valor points separating the first and the second place. Everyone else left in the dust far behind.
Biggest gain of valor in any of the new age seasons in SquadBlast history. Along with both players having insanely high win rates.
To honor their epic rivalry this season, we’re giving each of them a special frame that shows two halves that connect, symbolizing the crazy back-and-forth battle they had! Fractured in the process yet united in their pursuit in the very end. The rewards are unique, one of a kind, one for each of the fighters. We will distribute them in the coming weeks after the upcoming update.
As for Season 10? Who knows what’s gonna happen, but we’ll be watching closely to see what kind of chaos unfolds!
