Spring Shake-Up!

Hey Fighters! 🌸🔥

As we look ahead to the future, we're preparing a fresh wave of updates to bring new energy to the battlefield! Fighter and weapon rebalances, faster respawns, and a smoother way to jump into your next match are all on the horizon. Plus, seasonal rewards are set to get a boost, with new crafting materials and exclusive weapon skins for top ranking players.

Fighter Changes

Big moves incoming for all our fighters in the new meta!

As a small preview for now, we are planning to introduce some changes to how Laika’s Counterpart skill works. Now when a clone is destroyed, the falloff creates a small chill zone trapping anyone not careful enough to keep their distance. Another change is Hantu will get increased jumping mobility while under the Shadow Walk skill duration. We’re not revealing all changes now, but what do you think? Will Hantu finally get that buff he's been craving? Will Dash's weapons get that sweet boost? Maybe Paavo's about to become even more of a nightmare in the arena?

Gameplay Changes

Development of some exciting tweaks to keep the gameplay smooth and engaging. Armor recovery is about to get a significant boost, helping you hold your ground longer. Plus, respawn times in objective-based modes are getting a slight reduction, so you can jump back into the action even faster.

Seasonal Rewards Revamp

We’re planning to update our Seasonal rewards. Expect more rewards to help you gear up and something to show off your achievements.

As a small preview, we will be introducing two weapon skins per season with Season-exclusive visuals — an epic secondary for the Top 100 players and a legendary main for the Top 5. Each season will feature a unique set of weapons that wont be available again. A commemorative weapon will also make it’s way into our previous season’s champions as a sign of their achievement.

One More Round

We know waiting around between matches can be a right pain, especially when you want to grind back to back matches, so we’ve made it easier to keep the momentum going. We’re working on the availability to jump straight into the next game with just one button press at the results screen.

We’re also tweaking some key bindings for better flow. If you want to head back to the Main Menu, press Esc / B / Circle to skip all tabs instantly. If you’re ready for another match, hit Space / X / Square to start searching right away.

Upcoming bug fixes

Big shoutout to everyone for the awesome feedback over the past few months! We've been cooking up some fixes based on your input. Here's a sneak peek at what will be included, but hit us up with anything else you'd love to see on our tweak list!

  • Interact/PickUp button doesn’t get active for touch controls when you can’t actually interact with the object of pick up a weapon

  • Mini-maps fixes

  • 3x EXP and 3x Valor on Classic Payload

  • Bots can use sprint, dash, and roll abilities

  • Cover spot on the right side of Cable doesn't show once you're inside

With these planned changes in this preview, the arena’s about to feel more intense than ever. No matter what you’re looking for, there’ll be something for everyone in our future update.
