GeoTech is an international mining conglomerate headquartered in Kuala Lumpur. The company specializes in exotic ores such as uranium, zirconia, tantalum, indium, europium and vanadium. They operate in locations all over the world, but their principle activity is in locations with low wages and minimal government regulations.
The GeoTech conglomerate has existed for more than two decades now, although their existence has been threatened a number of times by the frequent work safety scandals that have shut down several of their operations.
One of the conglomerate’s most profitable mines is the Schwartzwalder Uranium Mine in the Erzgebirge mountains in Saxony. There, as with most of their operations, they employ predominately poor inexperienced workers and give them daily quotas instead of training and safety equipment.
Numerous reports have claimed that in some of mines GeoTech managers have used exhausted tunnels to secretly dump the bodies of workers killed on the job.
