This corporation is involved in a number of metal and liquid mining operations around the globe. One of its notable recent activities is the repurposing of exhausted deep sea oil pumping rigs to extract seabed lithium deposits from those same locations. Their mining operations also extract precious metals from river mouth sediments, rhodium from old gold mine locations in Australia, California and South Africa, iridium from old nickel mines in Russia and South Africa, and platinum from shoreline areas in Mexico.

Once the targeted resources have been extracted Petrolith, abandons the operations and often leaves behind a series of contaminated sites and ecological disasters. Petrolith’s slash and burn approach has led to great public outcry in some areas as well as numerous class-action lawsuits.
Viktor Willis, a Petrolith Vice President who often leads the legal defense teams that protect company interests, is well known for insensitive comments such as “What’s more valuable? A few squirrels, or three tons of Lithium?”
