Pistola Olivari began in 2027 with the production of it's low cost 3D printed Vespa Mortale handgun line that proved quite popular with citizens desiring a personal protection device during the beach kidnapping furor that swept across the Mediterranean coastal resorts for several years.

 The company used profits from the VM sales to buy out the Beretta Corporation in 2030 and then branched out into general weaponry manufacture in 2035 with the acquisition of Leonardo/Finmeccanica.   Today Pistola Olivari is considered a status marker for those with means.
