 PubCell is a brand well-known all around the world.  Their marketing department speaks of  hope and social adjustment and boasts that instead of locking people up they utilize them for the good of society.  In reality PubCell facilities are often sweatshops for low cost manufacturing.  

 Many investigative journalists who looked into the charges that PubCell donates huge sums of money secretly to corrupt politicians have found themselves locked up in PubCell facilities on trumped up charges.

 In recent years PubCell has started experimenting with new more grisly behaviour adjustment programs, mostly used on political and social dissidents. Virtual-reality neurological adjustment programs, aided by chemical injections and electric management, have been found to be more effective ways to “docilize” unruly and uncooperative inmates.
